APPLAUSESTORE.COM - THE NO1 AWARD WINNING OFFICIAL TELEVISION & RADIO AUDIENCE TICKET DESTINATION - OUR MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1. Is admission guaranteed?

Tickets for all television and radio shows / events produced before a live studio audience are free and distributed in excess of studio capacity to compensate for "no shows". Seats are limited and tickets holders will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the capacity of the studio. Admission is not guaranteed for any show/production.

2. What happens if we're not admitted?

Guests who are not admitted will be offered Priority Pass seating to a future recording. The Applause Store Audience Manager at the studio will provide all the necessary information on the night. Unfortunately we are unable to cover or pay for any travel/accommodation costs that may have been incurred. Applause Store Productions reserve the right to refuse any person/s admission.

3. What time should we arrive at the studio?

It's important that you arrive at the studio well within the audience call times stated on each eTicket. For some of the more popular hit shows, you may want to arrive at the studio approx 30-60 minutes prior to the door opening times. However, when popular guests, shows or well know bands are scheduled to appear, audience may begin queuing up much earlier than 60 minutes prior! If you are on a guest list, in a large group booking (the organiser only please!) or have Priority Pass tickets, then YOU MUST be sure to check-in no later than 45 minutes before the ‘door opening’ time stated on your tickets with the Applause Store Audience Manager upon arrival. Please be sure to allow plenty of time for traffic and parking.

4. Are there age restrictions?

Yes. These are set by the producers of the shows and not by Applause Store. We are not authorised to make exceptions. Most shows require audience members to be at least 16 or 18, due to their content, although some admit children as young as 8, 10 or 14 years old. Specific information can be found on our web site and on the eTickets, or at the time of booking from one of our Audience Researchers.

5. How long does the show last?

Most half-hour and hour long programmes take at least 2 to 3 hours to record one episode. The actual time depends on a number of factors including possible re-takes of scenes (the ‘cock-up’s’ you don't see at home) or technical problems. Please allow enough time for your visit to the studio. Most shows that are transmitted live last the length of the broadcast plus an hour for loading and unloading.

6.How do we find the studio/location?

Our shows are recorded and/or transmitted from many different studios and locations all around the world. A map and directions providing general travel information to each venue/studio/location can be found via the 'Studios' link on the navigation bar at the top of our web site. We recommend that you find more detailed information prior to setting off for the journey. Please be sure to allow plenty of time for traffic and parking.

7. Is the studio wheelchair accessible?

Most are, but you MUST notify us when booking your tickets in advance, if you, or any member of your party will be attending with a wheelchair. However, certain studios do not. Please call us on 0871 987 1234 to confirm. Please note that we do insist that any guest attending with a wheelchair must have two able bodied helpers with them to assist in loading in and out of the studio complex. This is not only for their own health and safety, but also for others attending the show.

If you, or a guest in your party require special arrangements or assistance at the studio, please contact our ticket unit at least five days prior to the show and we will be only too happy to help (eg; partially sighted, elderly or infirm). If prior arrangements have not been made, access to the studio may be denied.

8. What does 'Priority Pass’ mean?

On certain occasions guests of the production company and/or celebrity friends or relatives who are appearing on the show will be supplied tickets/etickets with Priority Pass clearly stated. They are asked to go straight to the front of the audience queue to announce their arrival to the Applause Store Audience Manager and usually placed in a separate queue. Please note: Priority Pass ticket holders will be detailed on the Audience Manager’s guests list and must announce their arrival. ‘Priority Pass’ ticket holders must strictly arrive no later than 45 minutes before the ‘door opening’ time as stated on the ticket. WITHOUT EXCEPTION late arrival will void any form of priority pass access.

9. The selling of free television/radio audience tickets?

Applause Store operates a completely FREE ticket service. However, it has been brought to our attention that some people have been selling/advertising our exclusive free tickets on various web sites including Ebay. We take this matter very seriously. Anyone who is found to be selling/advertising their allocation will instantly make them void and may also face formal proceedings against them. If you have bought or know anyone advertising our exclusive free tickets for sale, we would very much like to hear from you.

10. Can we arrange tickets for a large group or social club?

We do accept advance reservations for groups. Parties of eleven people or more will be asked to fax or email over a list of confirmed names and a copy of a coach receipt (if applicable) no less than seven days prior to the recording/transmission date. We also advertise when we are taking group bookings for certain shows here on our Show Schedule page.

11. Do Applause Store provide transportation?

No, we have no services available for individuals. However, we can possibly provide information of reliable coach companies for groups of 40 or more that have made advance reservations.

12. Is there parking at the studio and is it free?

Most studios that are outside city centres provide audience parking for free. If you visit a studio with ‘street parking’ (on the city roads), please be advised that you park at your own risk. Be sure to read the signs for parking restrictions (if any). If you choose to park in a public car park near a studio, you will be responsible for the parking fee.

13. Is food & drink available at the studio?

Some studios do have bars/cafes available, and some shows occasionally provide free snacks and drinks. However, we suggest that you plan on eating before you go to the studio as there may not be food or snacks available.

14. Will we be able to meet the celebrities or guests appearing on the show?

Although the ‘stars’ enjoy having you in the studio as their guests, they are working, and time does not permit personal interaction with each and every audience member. On certain occasions there may be an opportunity for a handshake or an autograph, but we can't promise that simply due to time constraints and the number of guests involved.

15. Why do we ask you to "confirm" ticket orders on certain shows?

Although tickets are distributed in excess of studio capacity, we must limit ticket distribution for all our shows. You can help us to estimate ticket "returns" by calling to confirm you, & your guests attendance. If you have not confirmed your attendance within seven days of your show request, then one of our Audience Researchers could possibly call you to confirm. If you call us to confirm, you will be asked: the name of the show, show date and time, the number in your party and your name. Either way the call is quick & easy and ‘activates’ your tickets. Confirmation of attendance does not guarantee admission.
