2026 Access Policy

We are extremely excited to announce our new Access Scheme. It is designed to be tailored to everyone’s individual needs and fully transparent, so you know exactly what is in place to support you before you arrive.

To take advantage of our Access Scheme, we ask you to tick either the Wheelchair or Access box when applying for tickets and show a valid Access Card or Blue Badge on the day.

If you arrive for a show without an Access Ticket and one of the supported documents, you would not be able to take advantage of this policy.

Access Tickets guarantee entry and, as such, have an earlier arrival time on them. This is usually only slightly earlier, but for our bigger Ticket Exchange shows, it could be a few hours earlier. We are aware that many people would prefer not to have to arrive earlier; however, due to the size of some of our events, we need this extra time to allow for “no-shows”. In this situation, the Ticket Exchange process should be very quick and allow you to head off and relax before returning for the event itself.

As our events, shows, and productions happen at a variety of different locations, venues and studios, what we are able to offer our access guests varies. The specific measures in place will be stated on your specific ‘Access’ eTickets in a format similar to below. This, we hope, exemplifies some of the most likely support methods you’ll see on your eTicket.

Difficulty Queuing/Standing: There may be a separate "Access Lane" which is more spacious and aims to keep queuing times to a minimum. This lane will close once we are nearing the venue capacity to ensure the integrity of our first-come, first-served policy.

At some of our smaller shows, we may not have an access lane in operation. In this instance, we may be able to provide you with seating while you queue. If this is not an option, please arrive with your entire party and speak to the ApplauseStore Audience Manager. They will suggest an area where those who can’t queue can wait, whilst at least one person from the party queues on their behalf. In this instance, it is important you attend with someone who is able to do so whilst someone else waits with you (if required).

Some of our events, such as premieres, are standing only and so may not be suitable for those who find this challenging. However, we do often have accessible pens which are less crowded, with more space to lean, for those who would find this helpful.

Wheelchair: Wheelchair users (and their party) may also use the "Access Lane" mentioned above if in operation, and will be allocated a wheelchair space inside the venue. This space will also have a seat for a carer. We aim to sit the rest of your party as near as possible, but we cannot guarantee they will be in the same area due to limited space.

If no access lane is operating, staff will be on-site to support wheelchair users; however, they will need to join the main queue.

All of our venues have step-free routes that wheelchair users may use.

Limited Mobility: We have a limited number of accessible seats at the majority of our events. These are situated as close to exits as possible and have a step-free route. As these seats are limited, we may need to split larger parties to ensure all those who require seats in this area can access them. For example, in a party of four where one individual requires accessible seating, we may sit them and one guest in this area and offer seats to the other two elsewhere in the venue.

These seats cannot be reserved in advance and are issued on a first-come, first-served basis to those who require them on the day.

Sometimes, the ApplauseStore Meeting point is a walk away from the venue. This is usually only a short distance, but your ticket will detail how far and note how steep the route is.

Some of our events, such as premieres, are standing only and so may not be suitable for those who find this challenging. However, we do often have accessible pens which are less crowded, with more space to lean, for those who would find this helpful.

Emergency Toilet Access: Unfortunately, for security reasons, we usually do not have access to toilets until entry to the venue is granted. Staff will be on-site to direct you to the nearest public toilets and to help you back into the queue if you have to leave. Please ensure you are attending with someone who can hold your space in the queue in this circumstance.

Once inside, we will do our best to issue you with seats near the toilets, in the accessible area mentioned in the Limited Mobility section above. Please ensure you have read it fully, as the policy will apply to you.

For some of our Fan Pen and outside events, toilet access may not be available so we suggest considering this before attending.

Assistance Dogs: Assistance/service dogs are, of course, welcome, but we do ask you to contact us in advance via the WhatsApp link at the top of our tickets/Contact Us page. This is so we can speak to the production company and ensure the health and safety of your dog, you and all those attending on the day.

+1: If you require a carer with you, please ensure you include them in the number when you make your ticket request. We will ensure that they are sat/stood next to you at the event.

Difficulty with Visual Information: Our staff will be on-site to answer any questions you may have, and our team is available via WhatsApp to support you before the event day.

Deaf/Hard of Hearing: Given enough notice, we may be able to offer a BSL (or other) interpreter at this event. However, these individuals are usually booked up in advance so it's vital you request this using the WhatsApp link above as soon as possible.

The venue may also be equipped with a hearing loop or other device, so please let our staff know on the day so they can confirm availability and support you with this.

Disabled parking: Many venues, especially those in Central London, do not have any disabled parking spaces. Disabled parking spaces should be in the area, but this is something you would need to research before attending.
