We are extremely excited to announce our new 2026 Access Policy. It has been tailored to support individuals’ needs, ensuring you know exactly what to expect before attending every one of our television shows and events.
Requirements: We ask you to tick the Wheelchair/Access box when applying if required. If successful, you will receive an access ticket and be asked to bring a valid Access Card or Blue Badge with you to the show/event. If you arrive without one of these cards or an Access Ticket, you would not be able to take advantage of this policy, your entrance is not guaranteed, and you will have to join the general queue. There are no exceptions to this. Sorry.
You are not guaranteed to receive a Wheelchair/Access ticket when you apply. They are all subject to availability for each show/event.
Access Tickets guarantee entry and, as such, have an earlier arrive-by time on them. This is usually only slightly earlier, but for our larger Ticket Exchange shows, it could be a few hours earlier. We are aware that many people would prefer not to have to arrive earlier; however, due to the size of some of our shows/events, we need this extra time to allow for “no-shows”. In this situation, the Ticket Exchange process should be very quick and allow you to head off and relax before returning for the show/event itself.
If your request is successful and you miss two shows/events in a 12-month period, a block may be put on your account. This is to ensure accessible spaces are being used to their full, but limited, availability.
Because our shows and events take place at various locations and venues, what we can offer our guests varies. The specific measures in place will be stated on our Access eTickets in a format similar to below, so please see some of the most likely support methods you’ll experience when you join us.

Difficulty Queuing/Standing: There may be a separate "Access Lane" which aims to keep queuing times to a minimum. This lane will close at the Access eTicket arrive-by time.
At some of our smaller shows, we may not have an access lane in operation. In this instance, please speak to the ApplauseStore® Audience Manager upon arrival with your entire party present. They may be able to suggest an area where those who can’t queue can wait, whilst at least one person remains in the queue. In this instance, it is important you attend with someone who is able to do so whilst someone else waits with you (if required).
Some of our shows and events, such as Screenings and Film Premieres, are standing only, so may not be suitable for those who find this challenging. However, we do often have accessible pens which are less crowded, with more space to lean, for those who would find this helpful.

Difficulty with Crowds: Many of our shows and events involve large audiences and can get fairly busy and crowded. If an access lane is operating, you are welcome to use it, but please consider how comfortable you will feel at a busy event, as most venues we work at don’t offer a separate seating section with extra space.
For Fan Pen events, there is usually an access pen which is deliberately kept under capacity to ensure everyone inside has more space. These are all subject to availability.

Wheelchair Users and those who require Level Access: Wheelchair users (and their party) may also use the "Access Lane" mentioned above if in operation, and will be allocated a wheelchair space/seat in the designated area/venue. This space will also have a place for a carer. We aim to position the rest of your party as near as possible, but we cannot guarantee they will be in the same area due to limited space.
If no access lane is operating, our Audience Managers will be on-site to support wheelchair users; however, they will need to join the main queue.
All of our venues have step-free routes that those who require level access may use.

Limited Distance/Mobility: We have a limited number of accessible seats at the majority of our shows/events. These are situated as close to exits as possible and have a step-free route. As these seats are limited, we may need to split larger parties to ensure all those who require seats in this area can access them. For example, in a party of four where one individual requires accessible seating, we may sit them and one guest in this area and offer seats to the other two elsewhere in the venue.
These seats cannot be reserved in advance and are issued on a first-come, first-served basis to those who require them on the day.
Sometimes the ApplauseStore® Meeting point is a walk away from the venue. This is usually only a short distance, but your ticket will detail how far and note how steep the route is.

Emergency Toilet Access: Unfortunately, for security reasons, we usually do not have access to toilets until entry to the studio/venue is granted. Our Audience Managers will do their best to direct you to the nearest public toilets. Please ensure you are attending with someone who can hold your space in the queue in this circumstance.
Once inside, we will do our best to issue you with seats near the toilets, in the accessible area mentioned in the Limited Mobility section above. We are unable to guaranteed these for you.
For some of our Fan Pen and outside events, toilet access may not be available so we suggest considering this before attending.

Assistance Dogs: Assistance/service dogs are, of course, welcome, but we do ask you to contact us in advance via the WhatsApp link at the top of our tickets/Contact Us page. This is so we can speak to the production company and ensure the health and safety of your dog, you, and all those attending on the day.

Essential Companion(s): If you require a companion(s), please ensure you include them in the number when you make your ticket request. We will ensure that they are sat/stood next to you at the event. We will take into account the number of companions you require when seating, based on the number shown on your Access Card.

Difficulty with Visual Information: Our team will be on-site to answer any questions you may have, and available via WhatsApp to support you before the show/event day.

Deaf/Hard of Hearing: The studios/venues may be equipped with a hearing loop or other device, so please let our staff know on the day so they can confirm availability and support you with this.
BSL (or other) interpreters can be requested. However, these individuals are usually booked up well in advance so it's vital you request this using the WhatsApp link above as soon as possible. ApplauseStore® are unable to guarantee the availability of a BSL (or other) interpreter at any event, as this is arranged by the production company.

Disabled parking: Many venues, especially those in Central London, do not have any disabled parking spaces. There may be disabled parking spaces nearby, but this is something you will need to research before attending.

Miscellaneous: Many of our events include loud noises, flashing lights and smoke effects.
Food and drink are rarely permitted, except for a 500ml sealed bottle of water. If you require permission to bring something else in due to a medical condition, please speak to the security team on-site.
If you require support in any other way, please speak to the ApplauseStore® team on-site, and they will do their best to assist you. We will not be able to make special arrangements in advance of the event.
