A message to all our members about COVID-19


Over the past few weeks, it’s become clear that our precious world is facing an unprecedented challenge and unique change. Like you, we are deeply concerned and want to do what we can to help keep our members, staff, friends and families and wider communities safe and healthy.

On behalf of the entire team here at ApplauseStore™, we want to let you know how we are responding to the situation. We are humbled by your loyalty, and we take our responsibility to all our members, our staff and teams very seriously.

From the onset of this situation, we have been listening to the appropriate sources for accurate and up-to-date information, and our preparedness plan reflects those inputs. As things evolve, we are actively monitoring the situation and assessing risks, and are ready to implement immediate changes to ensure the highest level of safety. We will continue to communicate with you in a timely and transparent way via email, with updates on our social media streams and on our website so that you can continue to attend and enjoy television show recordings and live broadcasts in confidence.

What we are doing:

We are introducing rigorous cleaning procedures. Everyone attending a show will be asked to wash their hands prior to entering and no food or drink will be permitted.

• All studios and venues are increasing the number of wipes, hand sanitisers, and other cleaning materials available at entrances / exits for all audience members and crew to use. 

 Upon arrival, we will be asking every ticket holder to confirm that none of the following applies to them if they are granted access to the studio: 

1) You are showing any symptoms (high temperature, new and continuous cough).

2) You have travelled abroad to an affected area in the last 14 days.

3) You have any of the following underlying health conditions and therefore be more vulnerable:

Heart or circulatory disease.


Lung disease such as asthma, airways disease or emphysema.

High blood pressure.

Organ transplantation.

We are taking sensible steps to help protect our staff and teams of Audience Managers. This means fewer meetings, limiting travel, and making it easier for them to take the time they need to care for themselves or their families in the event they are directly affected by COVID-19. 

We are monitoring new developments so that we can quickly adapt and continue to provide our free entertainment and the best possible experience.

We recognise this is extremely challenging and unprecedented times for all, and we remain deeply committed to the safety of our members, staff, friends and families and wider communities

VERY IMPORTANT: Applause Store operates a completely free ticket service. However, it has been brought to our attention that some people have been selling/advertising our free tickets on various web sites including Ebay. We take this matter very seriously. Anyone found to be selling their ticket allocation will instantly make them void and may also face formal proceedings against them. If you have bought or know anyone advertising our free tickets for sale, please let us know immediately.
